Frans Lanting Exhibition and Seminars
How would you like to spend a day learning from one of the world's greatest nature photographers?
 You can in March when, for the first time ever in Australia, world master of wildlife photography Frans Lanting conducts two exclusive one-day seminars entitled Every Picture Tells a Story.
The US-based photographer, whose Australian visit is being hosted by Ken Duncan, has  documented wildlife from the Amazon to Antarctica for three decades. His influential work appears in books, magazines and exhibitions around the world and is frequently commissioned by National Geographic, where Frans served as Photographer-in-Residence.
The two all-day seminars will take place on:
- Saturday, March 13 at the Ken Duncan Gallery at Erina Heights from 9am-4pm
- Saturday, March 20 at the InterContinental Sydney from 9am-4pm
 You will learn how Frans conceptualizes images to express ideas, and how those principles can be applied to landscape, wildlife, close-up and environmental photography. This is your chance to question a master!
Both seminars include morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Tickets are just $440 and places are extremely limited. An exhibition of Frans Lanting images will take place at Ken Duncan's Central Coast and Sydney galleries to coincide with the seminars.

LIFE presentation and cocktail reception
Additionally, you are invited to spend an intimate evening with Frans and view an exclusive screening of his highly acclaimed epic audiovisual project, LIFE: A Journey Through Time. The presentation and cocktail function will take place at the Ken Duncan Gallery, 414 The Entrance Road, Erina Heights, NSW, on Friday, March 12 from 6pm onwards. Tickets cost just $65 and are strictly limited.
LIFE is an original multimedia orchestral performance broken into seven movements, that chronicles the history of life on Earth through the imagery of Frans Lanting and the music of Philip Glass. From prehistoric trilobites to giant tortoises, delicate jellies to spiny octopus trees, and from erupting volcanoes to shimmering coral reefs, LIFE is a testament to the magical beauty and enduring miracle of life on earth.
At this exclusive evening you will have a chance to mingle with Frans, ask him questions and let some of his photographic brilliance rub off on you.
Exhibitions
A free exhibition of Fran's stunning images will be held at Ken Duncan's Erina Heights Gallery from March 12-15 and at the Sydney gallery from March 18-22 to coincide with the seminars.
