Join Ken Duncan on an exclusive photo safari to some of Africa’s most sought-after safari destinations – the renowned Masai Mara Reserve of Big Cat Diary fame, the more arid regions of Samburu/Buffalo Springs and Lewa Downs, finishing at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli National Park.

Your private group will visit some of Africa's top wildlife reserves with unparalleled wildlife viewing, and the opportunity to photograph Africa’s big game.  This promises to be the adventure of a lifetime.

Brief Itinerary (12 nights):

• 1 Dec - Arrive Nairobi, transfer to Ole Sereni Hotel
• 2 Dec - Private charter flight to Lewa Downs, Lewa Safari Camp x 3 nights
• 5 Dec - Road Transfer to Saruni Samburu x 2 nights
• 7 Dec - Private charter to Masai Mara, Entim Camp x 4 nights
• 11 Dec - Private charter to Amboseli, Tortilis Camp x 2 nights
• 13 Dec - Return to Nairobi

The tour starts and ends in Nairobi, Kenya. International airfares to Nairobi are not included but can be arranged by African Encounter (see contact details below).

PRICE: $10, 895 per person sharing

Tour Price Includes: all accommodation, meals, activities (including use of private vehicles and driver/guides), local drinks and laundry (excluding Ole Sereni Hotel, Nairobi), Park fees, and emergency evacuation.

Excludes: international airfares, visas, travel insurance, tips/gratuities and items of a personal nature.

Deposit:

A non-refundable deposit of $3,275 per person will be required to secure your place on the tour, with the balance being due 60 days prior to departure. At the time of booking you will also be asked to sign our Booking Terms & Conditions. Prices are subject to confirmation on booking.

An optional tour extension to see the endangered Mountain Gorillas is also available. This can be done either prior to the main tour or after. Please ask for details.

Airfares:

We will be looking to block book seats with Emirates to take advantage of cheaper group airfares if possible. This airfare will take us from Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane/Perth to Nairobi in Kenya (via Dubai) and back to Australia. Whilst airfare prices for Dec 2013 have not yet been finalised, the current 2012 price starts from $2,355 per person flying economy and including all taxes. Business class fares are available on request. Let us know if you would like us to hold one of these seats for you. Alternatively you are most welcome to book your own flights using frequent flyer points or your own travel agent, or you can talk to us at African Encounter about arranging any alternative international flights or any additions to the tour itinerary.

Single travelers are most welcome. We would like to encourage single travelers to share where possible as we have a restriction on the number of rooms available at the camps/lodges. Should you not wish to share then a single supplement of $1,835 would apply.
