The pure white sands of Hill Inlet - swirling in an ever-changing kaleidoscope through the waters of the bay - make for one of the most magnificent beach scenes in the world. Shot with my Roundshot camera with its rotating lens, this “Megapan” allows the viewer to escape for a while into the blue and reflect on things of greater importance. A pandanus palm clings to the cliff in the foreground, adding depth and perspective to this spectacular view. In such surroundings, it’s hard to imagine any problem that could overwhelm us. The anxieties of our “normal” workaday lives just fade away amid the dazzle of sand and crystal clear waters.
