"I was precariously perched out of a window to get this shot!" says Ken Duncan. Ken was looking down on the scene where Christ had fallen under the burden of the cross. The crowd is jeering and tormenting. Mother Mary kneels down to try to help her son, but she is dragged away by the Roman soldiers. For Ken this scene is forever associated with an incident that occurred during filming. During one of the takes the cross fell heavily on actor Jim Caviezel. "It was amazing," recalls Ken. "The cross was really heavy. It should have taken him out. He bounced off the ground it was so hard, but he wasn´t hurt. At times through this movie I believe Jim Caviezel was seeing small glimpses of the reality of the pain that Christ endured."
