Patience is a great virtue in life and can often be one of the hardest to achieve. Landscape photography has been very good for me in this respect. To get this shot I had to turn up faithfully day after day for weeks, waiting for the right light. It is helpful to realise that we are not always in control of our circumstances, only our attitudes to them. So often we can miss our miracles because we get discouraged and give up just before the breakthrough comes.
