Photo Workshops and Tours
A Ken Duncan Photographic Workshop or tour provides a fabulous opportunity to learn on location while you shoot alongside one of Australia’s masters of landscape imagery.
Whether you are a new photographer or an experienced shooter wanting to hone your techniques or rediscover your inspiration, our Photographic Workshops provide challenging, fun-filled adventures, in the most spectacular locations.
Even with so much to learn, it's the sort of course that will seem more like a holiday than school! You'll enjoy luxurious accommodation and wonderful food while you drink from the font of knowledge. Choose an exclusive getaway totally in the field, or join a larger group and benefit from the combined experience and talent of some of Australia’s finest photographic professionals.
Spaces are strictly limited in this hands-on workshop, which will take place from March 9-13, 2012 in one of Ken's favourite spots in Australia - the Central Coast of NSW, just an hour north of Sydney.
You can take advantage of the wealth of Ken's 30 years of photographic experience and learn how to capture better images. The beautiful Central Coast affords an array of spectacular scenery, from beaches to lush green valleys, to rocky waterfalls

Ken is off on another amazing adventure in the Kimberley and you’re invited.
On June 23rd, you’ll fly into Broome – the hub of the Kimberley – to begin a wonderful 14 day journey of discovery. You’ll tour in an air-conditioned 4WD coach and explore some of the most majestic landscapes Australia has to offer. Most of the accommodation is quite luxurious, but there will be a couple of nights when you’ll camp out. At the campsite your tent will be erected by your experienced Kimberley guide and you’ll sleep on a mattress with pillows and linen – in fact you will still enjoy most of the comforts of home right in the heart of the Australian outback.
10 - 14 February, 2012
Ken Duncan teams up with Leo Meier, the master of macro photography, to take a group of 18 photographic enthusiasts on a delicious tour through the rainforests of the Gold Coast hinterland.
O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat, situated in the heart of Lamington National Park, offers the warmth and charm of traditional guesthouse accommodation with a focus on nature. The Park affords a panoramic view of magnificent scenery – rugged mountains, waterfalls, running streams and forest giants.
Ken will be on hand to help build your skills at landscape photography and Leo will teach you macro techniques that will allow you to sharply capture the tiniest detail – a fresh new bud as it starts to unfold from a fern, or perhaps even the endangered Fleay’s barred frog.
