When Australia’s most loved photo-journalist Ray Martin set out on an expedition with Australia’s most awarded photographer Ken Duncan, he discovered there is far more to capturing the perfect landscape image than he bargained for. In a wild and unexpected adventure into the breathtaking Kimberley wilderness, Ray discovers a connection with the land he never expected – and a view of the Australian landscape his camera will never fully capture.
Ray Martin, OAM Ray is arguably Australia’s best loved journalist. With a celebrated career spanning more than 50 years, he has five Gold Logies, over twenty Silver Logies and an unmatched number of People’s Choice Awards to his name. In 2011 Ray received an Order of Australia Medal for his journalism, his work with indigenous Australians and his long involvement with charities such as the Fred Hollows Foundation, the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation and the Humpty Dumpty Foundation and his work with the Aboriginal Employment Strategy.
