For this innovative project Ken joined forces with a small group of respected local professional photographers to provide not only the broadest possible geographic coverage, but also a range of photographic styles.

A photographic competition then opened the project to anyone whose images depict the true spirit of the Central Coast region. That competition drew out the hidden talents of many unknown photographers and the standard of entries was outstanding. Ken believes many of the people whose entries have been included in this book are our photographers of the future. They are complemented by major sections from seven of the region’s top shooters: Ken Duncan, Michael Hruby, Danny Irvine, Glenn McKimmin, Luke Peterson, Jim Picot and Rod Thomas.

Ken Duncan is passionate about showing the world how wonderfully picturesque the NSW Central Coast is. He hopes this book will encourage you to visit and promote one of the most spectacular destinations Australia has to offer.
