A jetty reaches out into the morning mist like a welcoming hand for all who have dared to venture the wondrous seas. Pearling luggers settle into the mud, abandoned by the ebb of massive Kimberley tides, their hulls surrounded by protective hessian skirts. The wharf is named after Streeter, a man of steel and great vision, and an early pioneer of Broome´s pearling industry. Time is one of our greatest assets and the way we use it can make the difference between greatness and mediocrity. Streeter used his time wisely, for he knew that time and tide wait for no man.
