Autumn Symphony
For over twenty years I have been watching this particular location and I have always been fascinated by the striking autumn displays. This past season, when I was driving by late one afternoon, I noticed that the autumn colours had really hit their peak. I was determined not to miss capturing this wonderful spectacle, so I took my camera and went down there the next morning.
Thankfully, when I turned up all the conditions seemed to be perfect – including some gentle mist to help soften the light. In life, there is often a critical moment when everything just comes together and this was one of those special times. How beautifully nature adorns this humble driveway – it entices us to explore what lies beyond this golden doorway.
