Editions of 2000
What are 2000 Edition prints?
These are prints produced in editions of 2000. Each print is numbered, for example 473/2000, and no more than 2000 prints of each image will be produced.
How do I choose the right image?
Nature never goes out of fashion. Choose a scene you like, or an image that moves you. If you are buying the print as a gift, think about what kind of scene the recipient might like.
How do I choose the right frame?
Choose a frame colour that is the same as, or similar to, your window frames. You can select frame options online to see how each finish looks, and the Gallery team can help if you are unsure.
How much space do I need around my print?
Usually it is a good idea to leave at least as much space around a print as you would have around a window.
How do I hang my print?
Even for small prints, we suggest using a picture hanging system such as Artiteq. It lets you move artworks without damaging walls. See hanging tracks and accessories or contact the Gallery for assistance.
How do I light my print?
Proper lighting enhances the vibrancy of your print. Direct light evenly around the artwork and any main points of interest. Dimmer switches can help change the mood at different times of day.
Will the colours in my print be the same as I see on screen?
We work to represent Ken Duncan's images accurately, but screens vary. Online images should be taken as a guide only.
How is my print delivered?
Your print will be checked before despatch, packaged appropriately and sent by courier. It is fully insured from our door to yours.
When can I expect delivery?
2000 Edition Prints in 24 inch and 30 inch sizes are usually dispatched within 14 days. Sizes 40 inch and larger are produced to order, so allow 4 to 6 weeks. If you need a print urgently, contact the Gallery before ordering.
How much will I pay for delivery?
The price of a Ken Duncan 2000 Edition Print includes delivery anywhere in Australia. Unframed overseas print delivery is included. For framed overseas delivery, contact the Gallery for a freight quote.
What happens if my print is damaged in transit?
Framed prints are professionally packaged and insured. In the unlikely event of transit damage, we will collect the damaged print and replace it with a perfect one at no additional cost.
Do you send framed prints overseas?
We can ship prints overseas. For large prints, 40 inch and larger, we strongly recommend ordering unframed for overseas delivery because framed international freight is more expensive and more prone to damage.
What do I do if I recently purchased a Limited Edition Print from a previous owner?
Email erina@kenduncan.com with the title, edition number, your contact details, the previous owner's details and proof of purchase so we can update our records.
How do I resell my Limited Edition Print?
If you own a Limited Edition Print which has sold out, you can list it in Ken's Legacy Collection.
What happens if I move house, or if other details change?
Please email your old and new contact information to erina@kenduncan.com, along with details of the print or prints you own, so we can verify ownership and update records.
Ken's Legacy Collection
What is Ken's Legacy Collection?
Ken Duncan Legacy Collection prints are limited edition prints which are completely sold out. This means we have reached the maximum number of prints in that edition and cannot print any more unless a registered owner lists their edition for resale. Our website will show if a Legacy Collection print is available for purchase.
How do I know if my print is sold out?
Search for your print by title on the website. Directly under the print title, if you see a line of copy indicating that your print is sold out, then you can list it with us.
Is there a fee to list my print?
No. Listing your sold-out Ken Duncan Limited Edition Print on our Legacy Collection register is free. If your print sells through our website, we deduct a 25% brokerage fee from the selling price.
What price should I ask for my print?
That is entirely up to you. You can use the asking price of other Legacy Collection prints as a guide. Remember that you will receive 75% of your asking price after the brokerage fee.
Does the buyer purchase my actual print?
No. The buyer purchases the registered number of your print, not the physical print you have now. Your print must be destroyed before we can confirm the sale.
What happens if my print is sold?
Once payment is received from the buyer, we will contact you and ask you to destroy your copy and provide proof of destruction. When proof is received, we pay you the selling price less the 25% brokerage fee. Then a new print is produced for the buyer.
How do I show proof the print has been destroyed?
We ask you to remove the print from its frame, then cut or saw the print into at least 3 vertical pieces. Send us a photo of the strip showing the print name and number, and a photo of the strip showing Ken's signature and date.
Are reprinting and framing costs added to the print price?
Yes. Reprinting and framing costs are added to your Legacy Collection listing price when someone purchases through the website.
What information do I need to register my print for resale?
You will need the print code, print name, print number, print size, asking price, purchase location, approximate purchase date, your name, address, email and phone. Most details are on the print, invoice or Certificate of Authenticity.
What happens after I submit the resale form?
We use the resale form to verify ownership. Once verified, you are added to the Legacy Collection register. If your asking price is the most competitive, please allow up to 30 days for the print to be listed for resale online.
What if someone else lists their print for a lower price?
You will be notified by email that your listing may expire in 30 days, but you remain on the register. To stay featured, your listing must remain the most competitive.
If my print is sold, what amount will I receive?
You receive the print sale price less a 25% brokerage fee. Printing and framing services are provided separately by the Gallery for the buyer.
What do I do with my frame?
You may keep the frame if you wish, but the print itself must be destroyed.
What happens if I decide not to sell my print?
Email sales@kenduncan.com or phone +61 2 4367 6701 and we will remove your listing from the register.
How do I buy a print from the Legacy Collection register?
Click the image you want, select your preferred size and framing option, then proceed to checkout. Someone from the Erina Heights Gallery will contact you within a few days with the approximate delivery timing.
