What are premium edition prints?
Premium Edition Prints are Ken Duncan Limited Edition Prints. Each print in this category is numbered and there is a limit on the amount of prints available. E.G. Outback Glory, SA is an edition of 300. This means that there will be 300 prints produced of this particular image. Ken Duncan will hand title, number and hand sign your print.
How do I choose the right size print?
The old adage “the bigger the better” definitely applies to Ken Duncan artworks if you have the space.
- Two seater lounge would work best with a 50” print
- Three seater lounge would work best with a 60” print
- A queen size bed would work best with a 60” print

How do I choose the right frame?
Our standard frames are all made of plantation timber, in a variety of finishes. As a general rule of thumb warm colours such as yellows, oranges, reds work well with timber tones and cool or pastel colours such as blues, greens, pinks, purples and whites generally work better with black or white frames. Your decor can also be a factor in deciding which frame will suit you best. Timber tones tend to suit country-style decor, while white and black frames tend to suit more contemporary-type decor. What are your window frames made of? Use that as a guide. Please contact our gallery for further assistance in choosing a frame.
How much space do you need around the print?
General rule is that you need at least the same amount of space around a print that you would have around a window.
How do I choose the right image?
Nature never goes out of fashion. Choose a scene you like, or an image that moves you. Don’t choose prints according to your décor colour/s or style/s. The print is going to outlast all your décor and probably many style changes. Your print is going to turn your wall into a window on the beauty of nature. So, the question is, what would I like to see out of my window?
How do I hang my print?

What about lighting for my print?
We strongly advise investing in lighting for your artworks. Doing so will enhance the vibrancy in the colours of your artwork and bring your room to life. The number of lights you need will depend on the size of your artwork. We recommend a minimum of 2 lights on a 40” print, 3 lights for a 50” print, 4 lights for a 60” or 75” print. Be sure to direct the light evenly around your artwork, as well as any main points of interest in the image.
Will the colour be the same as I am seeing on the screen?
Every effort has been made on this Gallery site to accurately represent the vibrant colours of Ken Duncan’s images. However, due to differences in computer screens and certain other variations, the images here should only be taken as a guide. Obviously, the colour and sharpness of a finished Ken Duncan Limited Edition Print is far superior to what can be presented on a small screen at low definition.
What is the printing process of the Premium Edition prints?
Your Ken Duncan artwork is printed with Epson UltraChrome pigment based inks on Hahnemuhle White Ultra Smooth Photo Rag 100% cotton, 305gsm material. There is a border around the image for ease of handling and you should handle the print with great care to avoid scuffing, kinking or other damage.
What happens with delivery of my print?
Each of the items from the Ken Duncan Gallery is checked, packaged appropriately and despatched via a Courier. Your fine art print has been sprayed 3 times with a UV protective sealant (certified by the Wilhelm Imaging Research Centre) to provide improved protection against fading and to protect the surface integrity.
When can I expect delivery?
Please allow up 4 to 6 weeks to turnaround and deliver. These prints are individually printed to order and each one is registered, signed and numbered. Each print is inspected and signed by Ken personally, so some delays can occur when working around Ken’s travel schedule. If you place your order online, someone will contact you to advise the estimated delivery date.If you require an order urgently please contact the Gallery directly on +61 2 4367 6701 to discuss current despatch times.
How much does delivery cost?
Ken Duncan’s Limited Edition Prints include delivery Australia wide.
What happens if my print is damaged during the delivery transit?
Framed prints are professionally packaged and fully insured from our door to yours. In the unlikely event of damage in transit, we will have the print collected from you and replaced with a perfect one at no additional charge to you. For overseas orders, delivery is included for unframed prints. If you plan on ordering a framed print being delivered overseas you will need to contact the Gallery for a quote on the freight charge.Please contact the Gallery on +61 2 4367 6701
Do you send framed prints overseas?
Yes we can, however we strongly recommend you purchase an unframed print instead. Firstly, unframed prints include shipping overseas whereas framed prints wouldn’t. Secondly, it becomes too risky sending framed prints overseas.The unframed print will come with all framing instructions to ensure that the framer you take the print to knows exactly how we would frame it here.
What do I do if I recently just purchased a limited edition print off the previous owner?
You should email the Gallery at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide your full name, address, contact phone and the print details (print title and number), along with the previous owners details and proof of purchase.If you would like the Gallery to update the registration records with your details and reissue a Certificate of Authenticity then we can do so for $50. Please contact the Gallery on +61 2 4367 6701 to arrange this.
How do I resell my limited edition print?
If you would like to part ways with your print, then we would recommend selling your print privately. Please ensure you do your research and make sure you are clear about what you are selling; the print name, print number, print size, frame condition etc.If you own a sold out Limited Edition Print, then you can list it on our Hall of Fame.
What happens if my details change?
If you have recently married or changed address, then it is really important for you to contact the Gallery and advise us of these changes in order for the registration records to keep up to date. If this applies to you, please email email@example.com and provide your print details (name and number), your previous details and your updated details.
